Taste the Fruits of Life

Sunday mornings are the perfect time to visit the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Farmer’s Market. Welcome in the freshness of the new year with locally grown organic produce, smoothies, local honeys, hand-made pastries, nutrient packed smoothies and more. I’ve always felt shopping locally is the best way to connect with the surrounding neighborhoods. Go early to feel the slow paced life of a sleepy bohemian beach town. Things to look forward to: homemade soaps and lotions, fresh conch salad and fritters, locally made art and jewelry, Mediterranean food, natural dog treats, and more. This year my New Year’s resolution has been to eat healthier and wake up earlier. There is something special about these early morning hours when the sunshine is diffused and peace and tranquility fills the air. Picking up fresh produce and locally made artisan creations starts off my day with a smile and an eco-friendly tote bag full of goodies. Time to taste the fruits of life and stick to my resolutions!
