Stars, Stripes, and Fireworks that Make You Go Awe

It’s America’s Independence Day, and we want to party. Fortunately, Fort Lauderdale has one of the zestiest celebrations in South Florida. Live local bands, adult beach games, active kids zones, and a dazzling display of fireworks are just some of the highlights that draw visitors annually. This year Beauregard Cummings, Robert B. “Buddy” Lochrie, Jr., Evelyn Fortune Bartlett, and Dr. Elliott Miley Hendricks, will be honored in the Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony beginning at 5:45 pm. On the main stage, Making Faces will start performing at 4:30 pm with their soulful blend of reggae, funk, and rock, followed by N2Nation, the ultimate Motown tribute band from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. You haven’t experienced Fourth of July until you’ve danced on the beach with Motown music in the background. Motown is one of America’s most exceptional musical contributions. Fireworks start at 9 pm sharp and will set the sky on fire while being synchronized to the music on 101.5 LITE FM.
